There are many different companies and individuals that sell cannabis seeds but much fewer who actually produce seeds. We aim to inform you as to the best breeders in the business and who they work for. As one would expect because of legal restrictions in most countries most of these breeders operate from The Netherlands. Sensi Seeds - Sensi Seeds are the longest established cannabis seed company in the industry and their cannabis genetics some of the most trusted.
Mr Nice Seedbank - The Mr Nice Seed Bank is owned by Shantibaba, and incorporates the talents of another equally experienced breeder of exceptionally high quality, and operates with the collaboration of Howard Marks. These three individuals command a huge wealth of experience in producing cannabis strains. They have produced a large amount of the winning strains of cannabis since 1990, including such legendary strains as Northern Lights No. 5, NL5 x Haze, Super Silver Haze, White Widow, White Rhino, and White Shark.
Joint Doctor - The Joint Doctor is the breeder behind the revolutionary auto-flowering strain Lowryder.
Serious Seeds - The breeder behind Serious Seeds started his career doing biology at University, before working for Sensi Seeds. He has created some of the most exciting strains in the last two decades, e.g. Bubblegum, AK47 and Chronic.
Afropips - The only cannabis seed company focussing principally on woking with high quality African cannabis genetics.
Paradise Seeds - A highly reputable cannabis cup winning, Dutch cannabis seed company founded in 1994.
Seedsman - Seedsman do not actually produce their own seeds but work with some of the best breeders, one being Sam the Skunkman, creator of Skunk #1.
THSeeds - THSeeds was started in 1993, with the recognition that US cannabis genetics needed to be preserved in the relative legal safety of lenient cannabis laws in The Netherlands. THSeeds has used many of these excellent genetics in their strains.
Dutch Passion - Dutch Passion was started in The Netherlands in 1987 and have been at the forefront of the cannabis seed market since then. They were also the first cannabis seed company to pioneer the feminisation of seeds.
Cannabiogen - Cannabiogen are the leading Spanish cannabis seed producers.
Big Buddha Seeds - Big Buddha Seeds have released a seed bank around one of the most renowned Skunk #1 phenotypes - known as the Cheese. Their original Cheese combined this pheno with an Afghani, with which they have now crossed a Blueberry to make Blue Cheese. Exciting strains with more to come for sure.
Magus Genetics - Magus Genetics was started by a Dutch enthusiast who has aimed to keep the number of strains to a minimum but the quality to a maximum, he offers strains such as Warlock and Double Dutch.
DNA Genetics - DNA genetics similarly to THSeeds vacated the US seeking more liberal laws where they could extend their breeding projects, collect more genetics and commercialise the existing strainbase.
Kiwi Seeds - Kiwi Seeds is a company set up by Kiwis in conjunction with The Dampkring Coffee Shop in Amsterdam. They offer some fresh new f1 strains.
Soma Seeds - Soma is a heavily dreadlocked breeder who uses only organic methods whilst producing his seeds. He is the only seed company we know who produces New York City Diesel seeds.
Spice of Life Seeds - Spice of Life Seeds was started by Breeder Steve in 1994 having experimented growing cannabis all his adult life. He has some very interesting strains including Sweet Tooth #3.
